Who is Book City

Book City is a Tasmanian owned and operated bookstore located in Hobart. We have been trading for over 8 years and pride ourselves in offering quality books at the best price possible. We always try and beat out competitors on price. Go on, compare some of our prices with other stores and see the difference for yourself !

We also focus on offering our customers a personal, friendly and efficient service and will now be offering this same high quality service to our customers over the Internet.

Title Update

The titles database is updated weekly. To avoid disappointment we have only listed the titles which are in stock.

Out of Stock Items

Should a title be out of stock when it is ordered, you will be advised by email of the expected delivery time.

Title Not Listed?

If the title you are looking for is not listed in the database please email us and we will advise you of its availability and price.

Postage

Any orders of $40 or more will be surface mailed to anywhere in Australia at a cost of $2. Orders of less than $40 will incur a $7 postage and handling charge.

International Postage

Overseas orders of $40 or more will have freight subsidised by $6 and customers will be advised of the freight cost prior to dispatch.

Goods & Services Tax (GST)

All prices displayed include 10% GST. All purchases by customers outside of Australia will be exempt of GST. Price and postage will be confirmed by email before your order is dispatched.
